Welcome to an Evening with
Father Tom Bonacci, C.P.
The Evangelization Team of St. Margaret of Scotland welcomes you
tonight, as we engage in a dialogue with Father Tom Bonacci. We will
be talking about our Baptism, and about what it means for us to be
connected with Jesus, the Father, and the Spirit; and about ways we every
day share the "Good News" of God's Love!
Father Bonacci, like many of us, is a native Pittsburgher. He was
ordained a Passionist in 1972. That set him on a course of
studies---Sacred Scripture, Theology, Social Research, Campus Ministry!
All that set him on a course of ministries as teacher, retreat director,
administrator, AIDS worker, campus minister.
Our guest now finds himself as director of St. Paul of the Cross
Retreat Center in South Side. Many parishioners know well St. Paul Retreat
House and Monastery! An exciting new ministry of Father Tom is his work as
instructor in Scripture and campus minister at Carlow College, where
he is also the founder and director of the new Interfaith Sanctuary
established by the Sisters of Mercy.
It is our great pleasure to present to you this very busy and very
dedicated priest! We are so glad you have come! Enjoy
your evening!
