Youth News

Youth Night

Our next Youth Night will be TONIGHT, January 29, from 7:00 - 8:30 pm in the Hoehle House.  Hope to see you there!

Souper Bowl of Caring

Since 1990, more than $71 million has been raised for local charities across the country through the Souper Bowl of Caring. It has become a powerful movement that is transforming the time around Super Bowl weekend into the nation's largest celebration of giving and serving. Following all the Masses on the weekend of February 4/5 members of the Youth Ministry will be collecting donations for the Souper Bowl of Caring.  Every dollar donated will go directly to the Southwest Food Pantry.  Last year in an incredible display of generosity by the parishioners of our parish, we were able to raise $1,483.23!  Thank you in advance for your kindness and generosity.

Out N' Bout

Save the date because on Saturday, February 11 we will be heading to PPG Plaza for an afternoon of ice skating and fun!  Following ice skating, we'll enjoy some sweet treats and desserts at Eat N' Park.   If interested in attending please contact Dean.

Lovewalk for the Poor

The 22nd annual Lovewalk for the Poor is scheduled for 2:00 pm, Sunday, February 12, 2012 at Sacred Heart Church in Shadyside.  All participants are invited to bring diapers, wipes, and formula for Catholic Charities and non-perishable food items for EECM Soup Kitchen. What makes the Lovewalk truly unique is participants carry collected items after Mass with them on a one mile walk as a way of experiencing the hardships of the homeless who must carry their possessions with them at all times.  For additional information, or to register please contact Dean.  Everyone is welcomed!
