Join us THIS Wednesday, January 25 from 7:00-8:00 pm at Starbucks on Greentree Road for a tasty Starbucks beverage and a Youth Group meeting.
On February 12, the Youth Ministry will participate in the “Love Walk for the Poor.” On the weekend of January 28 and 29, a donation box will be located in the lobby of the church for the following items that are needed: diapers, baby wipes, and non-perishable food items. These items will then be given out to the homeless and poor of our region by the Youth Ministry on February 12, during the “Love Walk for the Poor.” Thank you in advance for your kindness and generosity.
Our next Youth Night will be on January 29 from 7:00-8:30 pm in the Hoehle House.
Since 1990, more than $71 million has been raised for local charities across the country through the Souper Bowl of Caring. It has become a powerful movement that is transforming the time around Super Bowl weekend into the nation's largest celebration of giving and serving. Following all Masses on the weekend of February 4 and 5 members of the Youth Ministry will be collecting donations for the Souper Bowl of Caring. Every dollar donated will go directly to the Southwest Food Pantry.
Last year in an incredible display of generosity by the parishioners of our parish, we were able to raise $1,483.23! Thank you in advance for your kindness and generosity.
NO CLASSES Monday, January 23. Tuesday, January 24 classes are in session.

There have been some interested adults who have come forward to volunteer for this ministry. If we have enough help we can schedule two Masses or more a month probably at the 10:00 am, and/or at the 12:15 pm Sunday Masses. We have the resources available, training is minimum and takes about 20 minutes to participate. You will still be “attending” Mass, the only difference is that the readings are from the Children's Lectionary.
It's that time of year again to prepare for the annual Highmark Walk for a Healthy Community! In recent years Angels Place has been fortunate to have many participants walk on their behalf. Last year, nearly 130 walkers joined together to raise almost $7,000 to help cover the cost of childcare expenses at our three centers. Angels Place provides single parents who are low-income, full-time students, with the help needed to complete their education through no-pay child care and family support programs. We provide a loving, nurturing , safe and healthy environment that every parent and child deserves.
If you would like to receive a statement of your contribution for 2011 (for tax purposes), please fill out the form below. Drop it off ( along with a self-addressed envelope) at the Parish Office, or drop it in the collection basket.
