The St. Vincent de Paul Society of St. Margaret recently submitted their annual report to the diocesan officials. During the past year, $17,000 was disbursed among the poor. The money was used and distributed for food purchased, clothing, medical fees, furniture, appliances, payment of utilities, transportation, rent and mortgage. About $13,914 of the amount received was in the form of church/Poor Box collections, Thanksgiving and Holy Thursday offertory collections and donations.
Eight members of the St. Vincent de Paul Society are engaged in works of mercy and in caring for the poor and sick. Your generous contributions made you a benefactor in these works of charity.
