St. Margaret of Scotland Parish
First Sunday of Advent
There is no school on Monday. School will resume on Tuesday.
We will begin our Advent journey “Do You Know His Name?” with a prayer service. The students will be discussing the many beautiful names we recognize Jesus as: Emmanuel, Son of God, Savior, Prince of Peace, Wonderful Counselor, and Everlasting Father. Each week the students will be working on special projects during the Advent Season. Our focus this week will be on the residents at Marian Manor. We will be collecting Ladies' socks and Kleenex, which we will send to them.
Happy Shopping! The children will be Santa shopping on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday this week! Thanks to Mrs. Gamble for heading the event and the PTG for sponsoring the Santa Shop.
We end the week with the Christmas Craft show on Saturday! Thanks to Mrs. Huber who works for hours on this event.
Author and popular speaker Mike Aquilina will speak at the Eucharist Holy Hour at Our Lady of Grace Church, the First Wednesday of Advent, November 30, from 7:00 to 8:00 pm. He will speak on “The Words of the Mass: Strength for Living.” and will share about the lives of the early Christians.
We would like to say thank you to everyone who donated a Market Day pie to Marian Manor.
On Monday November 14 we delivered 62 pies for the residents to enjoy over the holidays!
We are so grateful to the parishioners and school families for their generosity. As always,
thank you for your support!

Would you like to share your musical talents with our church? The Folk Choir plays at the 12:15 Mass every weekend. We are looking for a few new voices or musicians to share their God given talent with the church. The easiest way into some ones heart is through music, and God has given us a wonderful gift to be able to spread his Word through song and worship. If you are interested in joining the Folk Group please " email" <johnnyb5150 at hotmail dot com> or come to church 10 minutes before Noon on Sundays, at which time we like to rehearse a little before Mass.
