Retrouvaille , simply means “:rediscover.“: The program offers the chance to rediscover yourself, your spouse, and a loving relationship in your marriage. Tens of thousands headed for divorce have successfully saved their marriages by attending. Retrouvaille is not a spiritual retreat, not a sensitivity group, not a seminar, not a social gathering. For confidential information about or to register for the program beginning with a weekend on January 13, 2012, contact Retrouvaille at 412-277-3434 or e-mail 3041@retrouvaille.org. More information is available at www.helpourmarriage.com.

On Thursday, Thanksgiving Day, at the 9:00 am Mass, we will have our traditional offertory procession when we bring food to the Altar. Then, our St. Vincent de Paul Society will distribute the items to the needy of the Pittsburgh area. In addition, the offertory collection that day will be given to our St. Vincent de Paul Society, for use in helping the poor.
The St. Vincent de Paul Society is again sponsoring “Operation Shoe Box“ for residents at area homeless shelters. Collection boxes are at each entrance of the church for your donations through November 30. Thank you for your continued support.
A thankful heart is not only the greatest virtue, but the parent of all the other virtues.

It's that time again! Save the date, December 14 for our next Family night. All families are welcome to attend for a fun way to prepare for Christmas. A section of the cafeteria will be reserved for parents who want to work on their last minute Christmas card list. As always, each family may bring some snacks to share and we will provide the drinks. Please call 412-921-1613 to let us know how many to prepare for.
Our next Baptism Class is Sunday, December 18, after the 12:15 pm Mass. You must register for the class by calling 412-921-1613. A date cannot be confirmed for baptism until your documents are in the office and you have taken the class.
As mentioned at Mass recently , we are hoping to purchase a new truck since our old truck is beyond repair. The average dealership price for a new truck is approximately $40,000, according to several truck dealers in the area. A committee has been formed to contact parishioners who are willing to donate $500 or more towards this purchase. So far, 20 parishioners have pledged at least $500. If you would like to make a pledge in any amount please contact: Nick Canello at 412-996-0021, Bob Palmosina at 412-207-7310, or Dave Montz at 412-531-6346.

We would like to thank all of the young ladies and gentlemen from our school's eighth grade class for their excellent help at the Parish Breakfast. You were all FABULOUS. These are some of the classmates who helped: David Blackhall; Jacob Brooks; Alexis Cook; Brendan Cringle; Antonio Casadei, Rachel Guest; Joe Kobily; Megan Krance; Jarod Latta; Josh Pachel and Amanda Weber. If there are any we have missed, our apologizes and thanks are also extended to you.
Would you like to share your musical talents with our church? The Folk Choir plays at the 12:15 Mass every weekend. We are looking for a few new voices or musicians to share their God given talent with the church. The easiest way into some ones heart is through music, and God has given us a wonderful gift to be able to spread his Word through song and worship. If you are interested in joining the Folk Group please "email" <johnnyb5150 at hotmail dot com> or come to church 10 minutes before Noon on Sundays, at which time we like to rehearse a little before Mass.
