Week-End Socials

Thanks to the Women's Guild for providing us with a very enjoyable social gathering, where many enjoyed hot dogs and conviviality on a pretty part of the parish grounds which some had never seen before. The Knights of Columbus will treat us to a repeat performance on August 14 and 15, after the 4:00 pm, 10:00 am and 12:15 pm Masses.

Even if you don't like hot dogs, you will like spending time with old friends and new acquaintances in a mini-picnic atmosphere. We look forward to the pleasure of your company.

Bringing God's Love to the Poor

In the gospel, Jesus teaches us that God is our “Father” and just as a parent's love for their child is unlimited, so is God's love and care for us unlimited. Your gifts to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul Poor Box helps the poor to know that God is indeed their “Father.”

St. Vincent de Paul Society

Members will meet on Monday, July 26 at 7:00 pm in the Hoehle House.

Altar Flowers

The flowers at the foot of the Altar are given in memory of Mary Bakes and James Biancaniello from Mary Biancaniello.

A Message from the Pastor

Maintenance Expense

Our parish grounds and buildings are in constant need of repairs due to age and deterioration. Parishioners are often surprised when they are told that our “new” church building is over 30 years old!

Money is “tight” these days and it is a strain on parish finances to undertake projects such as replacing collapsed porches (office), balconies (school) and removing dangerous trees throughout the parish grounds.

A generous parishioner donated a substantial amount of money to help pay for the tree removal project. I thank them immensely for their charity! Another thank you goes out to the parishioner who repaired the wall outside the gym free of charge.

Should anyone else wish to follow their generous examples by making a donation to help fund these costly maintenance repairs please contact me.

Since our offertory income has been unable to keep up with the rising costs of repairs, any gift would be a blessing from heaven. Thank you for considering to come forward and pitch in!
