A Message from the Pastor

Easter Thanks

As I reflect on my Holy Week and Easter experience here at St. Margaret, I recognize that I have so much for which to be grateful. The Holy Week liturgies were very prayerful and beautiful, especially the Youth Group's Living Stations on Good Friday. Our teenagers performed magnificently.
We are grateful to God for the new members brought into the Church at our inspiring Easter Vigil on Holy Saturday.

I would like to personally express my thanks to the choir, the Ministers of Holy Communion, ushers, greeters, M.C., lectors, servers, and to the adults who cleaned and decorated our beautiful Church for Easter. I would also like to thank all those who provided me with Easter food and candy. I appreciate your thoughtfulness and kindness.

First Communion is here!

Let us continue to pray for the second graders from our school and CCD program who are making their First Communion the next two weekends. May Christ's love dwell forever in our youngsters' hearts. Congratulations to them and their parents.  We thank all those who prepared them to receive the Lord in Communion for the first time.

Divine Mercy Sunday

Today is Divine Mercy Sunday. Members of the Knights of Columbus are distributing booklets that contain instructions for praying the Chaplet of Divine Mercy. A beautiful icon of Christ the Divine Mercy was also donated by the Knights to our parish. It will be featured in the Church this weekend as the Knights gather with our parishioners this afternoon at 2:30 pm, to pray for God's mercy in our troubled world. Everyone is welcome to participate in this service.
